How do I build attraction through text to get a babe to visit me?
What's up, bros? I'm pretty new to PWF and this community. I'm in a weird, transitory season of life currently, but I'm excited to start using what I'm learning here. Please help me navigate this situation cuz I'm not sure what to do. I live in Colorado, but I'll be in my hometown in Iowa through July (responding to familial crises). A couple Saturdays ago, I met this super hot babe that I went to high school with at a bar. I met her through a mutual friend, who happens to be her best friend and the chick my homie is currently banging. Though she's way hotter than chicks I normally pull, I handled her as if I'm the prize because, well, I am. I DHVed on various things she's into. She currently lives in the city I lived in for 5 years before moving to Colorado, so I impressed her by knowing all the spots she frequents. She wants to move somewhere warm ("like Colorado or Arizona") so she can be active all year round, which is the reason I moved to Colorado. She was impressed I'd made that leap instead of just talking about it endlessly. She's big into hiking and was impressed that I've summitted more than a dozen 14,000' peaks in Colorado. She'd recently been to Utah and was impressed that I've done the same hikes she'd done on her trip. I pulled her number at the bar, then unexpectedly after bar close her friend, my friend, she, and I went to her friend's house and hung out til 4am. The vibe at her friend's place was weird... sitting on a big couch in a well-lit living room, no more drinking, no spare room for privacy, and just not my space or hers so it felt like we were guests. I got the sense that she's not the impulsive, slutty type of girl who'd bone a guy she just met on her friend's couch. The conversation was fun and effortless, but I didn't touch her aside from the fist bump she gave me when I left. When I caught up with my buddy later, he told me that after I left she said something along the lines of, "He's super cute and I'm interested, but I'm not just going to sleep with him." I'm not going to make excuses; I fucked up by not sexualizing at the bar or at her friend's house. I sent her a text message the following evening (Sunday) DHVing myself on something we'd talked about before I left but she didn't respond. On Thursday, I texted to ask if she'd recovered from our late night yet. We swapped a few get-to-know-you vibe sort of texts, then I called it a night. Friday, I friended her on Facebook (she promptly accepted) so she could see my most recent post which I'm sure will raise her attraction and intrigue further. However, I noticed that she's listed as being in a relationship for 4 months. This doesn't bother me because I take it as a good sign that she gave me her number, never brought it up, and told my buddy she's interested. So, what do I do now? At minimum, I would love to bone this girl. Ideally, we could have ourselves a hot summer fling while I'm around. I've already told her to hit me up the next time she's in town which she seemed into, and I'm considering manufacturing a reason to go to her town just to create an opportunity to cross paths again. I'm in the market for a new vehicle so maybe I'll go there to check some out. Normally I wouldn't put forth so much effort, but she's soooooo fine and there's no one around my hometown that I'm even remotely interested in because it's an endless sea of overweight, single moms. I want to be assertive and make it happen without appearing like I'm trying too hard or being needy.
