I messed up by not making a move, but I'm not convinced that first night was the prime opportunity. Again, she doesn't strike me as the impulsive type. Or at least not with me on that night on that couch. I think showing restraint that night will benefit me if I play it right from here.

Her: Almost. Looking forward to a low key weekend though coming up.
Me: Worth it. Whatcha got in mind for your low key weekend?
Her: No plans. That's my idea of the perfect weekend.
Me: Ooo girl soak it up. Just don't forget to call yo mama on Sunday. You close with your fam?
Her: Yes, very close to them. I am actually meeting them on Sunday for dinner for Mother's Day.
Me: That's sweet. I'm making my mom brunch. I don't miss much here, but fam is def a huge one. I'm beat from a killer workout. Have a great no-plans weekend.
Any suggestions on where to go from here? I was thinking about asking her where she took her mom, then follow up with something along the lines of "sounds almost as fun as what I've got planned for us."
