Honestly the girls usually write what I specified above above. They write the following first when messaging me: 'hey', heart emoji, waving hand emoji, winky face emoji. I have tried responding 'hey cutie', 'taking initiate to message first, I like it;)', 'hola linda', etc and no response most of the time, I feel like the girl just doesn't know what to say in those cases.

I understand, but is there a way to generally frame statements that make it easy for girls to respond? How often does it happen that you make statements but girls don’t respond?
