Got her number a few weeks ago at the grocery store and the conversation went dead pretty fast. I ended up texted her from my “friends” number to ask why she ghosted me, and she used a generic excuse. I wanted to give it some time before trying again, so it’s been a few weeks now. What’s the best way to approach this?
After not getting a reply on my third text in a row I decided to try one of Alex’s techniques from his videos and texted this girl from a “friends” number to ask why she ghosted me. I’m not sure how much of my texts she understood in english, so my “friend” asked her in Spanish and you can see the translation in the last screenshot. It seems like she may be busy at the moment, so should I give it a few more days or try texting her now? For context I met this girl last Tuesday from cold approach at a grocery store, and she seemed interested from the jump. We talked a while in the checkout line and hugged outside the store. She’s Columbian but moved to Florida a few years ago so her english isn’t that good. I couldn’t build a lot of investment due to the language barrier. She’s also in her mid to late 40s and I’m 21.
Met this girl this past Tuesday from cold approach at a grocery store, and she was intrested from the jump. We talked a while in the checkout line and hugged outside the store. For context, she’s Columbian but moved to Florida a few years ago so her english isn’t that good. I couldn’t build a lot of investment due to the language barrier. She’s also in her mid to late 40s and I’m 21 but she looks much younger. We’ve started texting and I sent a picture of my dog as an icebreaker, but how should I transition this to a date? I’m not sure if she understood some of my texts because she left me on read on my first text, then texted me yesterday afternoon.
Got this girls snap from a cold approach, and we’ve texted back and forth since. She’s been a bit unresponsive sometimes, but that’s understandable with finals to worry about. she hmu on snap after adding me back to ask if the approach really wasn’t a prank, and how her friends have gotten approached in a similar way before. This was something she also brought up in person, so she wanted to make sure. she was a bit paranoid, but i sent a voice message to ease her, then this is how the rest of the conversation went me: so im guessing you’ve never been approached before her: nope, not once in my entire life ( if you can already tell ) me: well i guess there’s a first for everything no reply me: ryan gosling meme no reply me: are you always this talkative her: apologizes and explains how busy she’s been with finals me: same but i’ll still make time for you, oddities and all lol her: haha well thank you how are finals going are you going home for the summer me: they’re going well, i only got one more but wbu? yeah but i stay in Tampa, so I usually come back to miami during the summer. you staying? her: I have like three more ugh haha and no I’ll be going home me: sent a voice memo that i want to see her before she leaves her: It is rough 😭 can i ask what ur intentions are? not sure if i’m rly looking for anything rn especially since it’s the summer me: i like to let things unfold naturally, no intentions on my end her: alrighty me: what u on tn her: just w some friends wbu me: same at the wharf rn how long you gon be out for? her: not sure maybe 2 ish hours left her on open me: what’s good how was last night? no response It’s almost been two days since the last text. To add some context, when i asked her what she was on that night, it was around 11:00 PM, and she replied in 3 minutes. The problem is i was already at the club with a lot of friends, and knew that i wasn’t gonna be home anytime soon. I ended up leaving her on open when she said she’ll be out for another 2 hours, and messaged her the following day. Not sure where to go from here, but I can tell she’s a pretty reserved girl, who doesn’t have much experience with dating. How can I make plans with her, despite this? Thank you
