Whats up guys, Went on a date last night. Went well. We made out at the bar but wasn't able to get her back to my place. How do you guys usually proceed? Do I wait for her to text me? Do I text her the classic "last night was fun thanks for coming out"? Is that too boring and beta? Would love to hear some opinions!
Hey PWF fam, So I met this girl not through dating apps, but through social media. It's a long story but we were DMing on insta and set our first date in early November. We fucked on the first date and it was INSANE. This is the only reason I care, her sex game is amazing. Plus I kinda like her. If it wasn't for these two things I would just totally move on. After our first hang out, it went a couple weeks, she went home for Thanksgiving. Then we hooked up again a week after Thanksgiving. Then a 3rd time a week after that. She even brought me to hang out with her friends, who she says loved me. She slept over that night too which she had not done in the past. (Pic 1) So based off all this, should be all systems go right? Well, we couldn't hang out with the two holidays (Xmas/NYE). I texted her Merry Christmas and she responded positively. (Pic 2) Then a few days after the new year I texted her again. That is where things get iffy... She replies IMMEDIATELY. Like within 5 minutes. Very engaged in the conversation. I text her back and BOOM...ghosted. (Pic 3) I wait a couple days and send her Alex's famous "waiting for you to text me back meme." She again replies immediately and apologizes for not replying before. I tried to playfully call out her behavior in a non-needy way and it doesn't work. She ghosts again. (Pic 4) I attached all the screenshots of the texts so you can see for yourself. Heres the thing: she is just kinda like this as a person. After thanksgiving, she texted me first asking me how was my holiday. I replied and she ghosted. Re-engaged a couple days later and it was fine. I attached this screenshot for context (Pic 5) Also, after the 3rd time we hung out. She texted me a couple days later. Same situation, I replied, she didn't, then texted me the next day to call her because she was looking for bar recommendations for her and her friends to get brunch. I attached the screenshot of this one as well (Pic 2) All of this might due to a slight maturity gap. She is a bit younger. She is 21 and I am 26. So the ghosty behavior might just be a function of immaturity. The way I see it I could basically do a couple of things: I could hit her with Alex's famous "If you're not into this, I can stop trying." To which she might just say "yeah im not into it," which is actually totally fine with me because then I can move on with total clarity, but if there is a way to salvage this I would like to do that. I could wait a week or two and then hit her with a ryan gosling meme to re-engage I could just leave it be and see if she ever hits me back up in the future Thanks if you read all of this this, and thank you even more if you give your opinion. Even if you think you don't know what to do, I would love to hear your opinion anyway. I just want to talk this through and see if I get any clarity. Much love fam. Pic order and descriptions Pic 1: Me texting to confirm plans for our 3rd hang out. "I'll be outside" is leaving her friends place to go back to mine Pic 2: Her texting me 2 days later asking how I am doing. I reply and she doesn't. She texts me the next day to ask about bar recommendations. I text her Merry Christmas and she responds positively Pic 3: I text her after the holidays. She texts back immediately. I reply, she ghosts. Pic 4: I re-engage with Alex's meme. She replies immediately again. I call out her behavior in a non-needy way. Same result. Pic 5: Her texting me first after Thanksgiving. I reply she doesn't. I re-engage and it is fine we are able to set up another date. Posting this so you can see the ghosty behavior is just how she is.
Thanks to PWF I've gotten to a point where I now have a couple of really cute really cool girls on a solid rotation (meaning we've hungout and hooked up on at least 2-3 different occasions). My question is that I find myself always being the one to hit them up to make these plans. I rarely have them reach out to me to hangout. Now, they are almost always down to hang out when I hit them up, but I guess I am curious if this is normal? Is the onus always on the guy to make plans? I understand that in the beginning but I feel like once you've been hanging out with somebody it should be a little more 50-50, am I wrong? Looking forward to hearing what you guys think!
