Failed shit test - is it over?
For context, I'm 25, she's 29. We work together, different departments. She has been all over me for a long time, touching, teasing, compliments, flirting. She placer her leg on mine 2 weeks ago and I put my hand on her thigh, she let it sit there for a couple minutes as we watched a video on my phone and she eventually got up with f* me eyes and a smirk and went to a different office. She's shit tested me several times and I've shattered them (Tried setting me up with a different girl, "I don't go out with younger guys" "You couldn't find a tighter T-shirt than that?") Gets super duper jealous when other girls touch me, hug me, flirt with me etc. We got in a small argument and she blocked my number (She pretended to be mad at me for a couple days then went back to her usual self, touching and flirting with me, rubbing her butt against me as she passes by, dropping sexual innuendos etc). I asked her to unblock me as we were leaving and she was like oh ok and nothing. She got in the elevator after me and was like "Hey, Joe, man.... I can't unblock your number." The way she said it threw me off, like super sad like her parents just died. I'm like "Why's that?" Her: "I don't communicate with guys". I was very tired and all I was looking forward to was going home and laying down cause I hadn't slept properly in days & overworked & overtrained. Was absolutely not in the mood for banter. I just said "Ok" and shrugged my shoulders like I didn't really care. Her: "You're not gonna be mad, right?" Me: "Why'd I be mad?" Then I held the door for her on our way out and she laughed, and that was that. Her birthday was a few days ago and everyone from work went to congratulate her but I had days off so she only saw me today. Now she didn't get cake on the 3rd when it was her birthday, but only got cake today (the 7th) when I would be back (I was away from the 2nd and only came back today on the 7th, she has access to the schedules so she might plan this idk? seemed weird she would wait for a few days regardless) She went by giving everyone a piece and when she came over to me I was like nah I've stopped eating sweets, I need to diet down a little (I've talked about starting my cut, also don't want this to sound like I'm some fatso haha I've competed in bodybuilding shows pre covid, just want to get shredded for the summer thats it.) She gave other people cake and said "Joe didn't congratulate me on my birthday... but ok". when she was close enough so I can hear. I got up after she stopped giving cake to everyone and hugged her to congratulate her birthday, she smiled wide but gave me a weird hug with both underhooks (both hands under mine) which seemed very weird (she would always hug me with both hands around my neck). So I think that was a shit test and I failed it. Now considering I've passed a lot of shit tests from her previously, with most of them way harder than this one, could this be excused and forgotten with time as long as I give her space or is it over? Like I know if you fail a big shit test from the get go she may think you don't get it but would she know I get it cause I've passed all of them until now? I was just so exhausted I didn't want to talk to anyone but she was here so I just asked her to unblock me not thinking I was gonna get tested for it... I'm blocked on her phone so I cannot contact her outside of work. I feel like crap, like I'm underneath her now for failing that shit test. What do you think I should do here? I can move on to a different girl but she has all the qualities I'm looking for and I just feel like a complete turd for failing that easy shit test. Her acting cold and sad threw me off cause usually she would smile during shit tests. Please advise me on what you think my next move should be? Thank you guys <3
