Invaluable Photo Taking and Editing Tips
I stumbled on this: ways of using your eyes to seem more confident and ways to make your jawline pop in a photo. It's something I have heard of before, but watching these videos really helped see the impact that these photo tips have. https://getpocket.com/explore/item/make-every-photo-a-potential-profile-pic-by-learning-how-to-pose?utm_source=pocket-newtab https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ff7nltdBCHs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qe3oJnFtA_k After squinching you'll loose some clarity of the eye in the photo. Light will be occluded from the eye, making it darker. Very slightly raise the exposure of just the eyes and de-saturate the whites of the eyes. I'm going to throw in one of my own too. If you aren't taking advantage of the crop tool, you are doing yourself a disservice. Crop your photos so that you take up the majority, but keep context in the photo obviously if it helps tell a story. If you have Photoshop, use frequency separation to even out your skin tones WITHOUT eliminating skin texture (also good for eye bags). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRndGkBegGg I'm not sure what you think of the photo I ended up with here, but here's an example of what you could end up with. I imagine some people here could take better advantage of it.
