Yes, it still applies. I still use it to this day. One thing to keep in mind is that in Latin countries, conversations should be kept simple and to the point.
What I would do in this situation is wait a day or two, and then open up with “Pregunta...” around 12pm
Wait for her reply. Then make sure you follow up with something exciting.

So I tried applying this but apparently I did it wrong. Before I Re-engaged her, she texted me "hey".
I asked how her Monday was going and she asked me that back. I told her I was feeling really sore, and when she asked why, I told her it was from my new leg workout. She said "Share it with me" and I replied "Oh are you trying to get fit for our date?" And she stopped replying
Any thoughts?
