Hey guys, so I was texting this 10/10 from bumble in Mexico and we talked about meeting up and stuff, then she gave me her number and it quickly went downhill from there as she has not replied. I don't know what I did wrong or how could I fix it so any help would be appreciated
I'll translate the texts when we moved it to WhatsApp
Me: Hey Ireland! Her name
Her: Hey ! What's up!
Me: Tell me something. What's your hidden talent
Her: hahahaha hmmm
Her: That's a good question
Her: 🥴
Me:jmmmm I think there's something in your mind but you are too shy to say it

Were you texting her in english, or is this a translation from spanish?
If it was all in english, the mistake here was when you said "Tell me something. What's your hidden talent".
A simple, and better message would've been "How is your Monday going?". What this does is check her level of interest since she will most likely say "It's going good, and yours?".
Then after is where you peak her interest by saying something exciting, followed by a picture (not necessary though).
Example: "Quite busy, but about to enjoy some wine on my romantic balcony" (send her the picture of you holding the wine bottle)
On the flipside, another reason why she hasn't responded is that perhaps she got tired of speaking english, and just doesn't want to talk anymore unless you engage in spanish. I say this because it happened to me a couple of times when I first time arrived to Costa Rica and assumed every girl knew a bit of english.

I speak Spanish so our conversation is in Spanish too, so does the simpler text still apply? I thought it was an interesting question

Yes, it still applies. I still use it to this day. One thing to keep in mind is that in Latin countries, conversations should be kept simple and to the point.
What I would do in this situation is wait a day or two, and then open up with “Pregunta...” around 12pm
Wait for her reply. Then make sure you follow up with something exciting.

revive after a couple days. start a new thread and don't pick up on the last bs and go for the meet up this time, i mean you got her to what's app so make it happen already. if she's really a 10, then she's busy. who knows, maybe she got kidnapped by the mexican cartel and is being sold as a sex slave in the U.S.
