Hey everybody, I am new here so apologize if this question has already been addressed. I did do some digging but I couldn't find a good answer. I'm mostly looking to not be flaked on after a girl agrees to meet up a week or two in advance. I am actually a really busy guy so I have to schedule dates out a week or sometimes two weeks in advance, usually at night. I try to take my time establishing rapport w the girl and build as much attraction as possible. Inevitably though, plans get flaked on and/or ghosted afterwards, which I understand is normal, especially w online dating.
I was wondering what texting should look like after you close, especially if the date is set several days ahead. Specifically, what is the frequency, should I talk about the future date, sext, go dark immediately after logistics are settled?
I've met up with a girl 3 weeks in advance once before, but she really wanted to meet. I'll check my texts and update you, but I remember there wasn't really that much talking in between at all or probably nothing oddly. I strongly advise against that method though, I always set my dates a few days in advance, (probably 6-7 days at most) as there is far too much that can happen in between the meet up.
Gotcha, I've tried reopening a couple of girls I felt like I closed to quickly and have gotten mixed results. So hard for me to tell
Yea bro I texted her Nov 18 (with no text in between the time frame) and texted the day of the meet up on Dec 4th "Get excited for tonight we are gunna have a blast" and she replied "Haha yeah! I'm planning to be there!" So it depends on if the girl is really wanting to meet up, but this worked in my case, although I avoid this at all cost nowadays and schedule ASAP if possible. The timing can be tricky especially if she is busy or out of town with family for vacation. Best of luck dude!
I wouldn't go "dark" dark. I would send a meme or two. Maybe an inside joke. A bit of investment can definitely help once you've set the date. Or the chance of flaking is definitely high. Welcome to the family btw
