I asked to meet her for a cooking date. She wants to go for a walk in the park for the first date. Park is closer to her (but there are not many parks near where I am). She's up for the cooking date for the second date. Should I just take the park date? Or should I push the cooking date more? I'm a bit hesitant to push it, since I enjoy a walk in the park, but pulling from the park will be a bit tricky (30 min drive).
What should I say here?
I’d ignore her suggestion and offer to get drinks near your place. Sounds like she just wants to meet somewhere public first. If she’s not down for drinks, settle for coffee.
This is definitely a "comfort" girl meaning you are unlikely to bang on the first date anyway. Take the park date and settle for second date at yours.
