I decided to meet a girl from tinder who didn't want to come over to my place on the first meet but I figured I will seed the pull and pull her for wine or plausible deniability.
Once I met her I noticed she was damn near as tall as me which is a turn off because I prefer little girls. She was 170cm and wearing heels. I think this was my fault because I'm around 187cm and I told her that she could wear heels and still feel very little next to me. But in reality she was damn near the same height as me.
I started to do a soft close at a high point. When she was laughing. I said "Do you drink wine" and she said she likes "sparkling wine" so i just went with it and said "Perfect! After this lets split a bittle on my romantic balcony" and she says "Not today!" So then I wanted to get to the core reason. She says she wants to get to know more first and i just said "it's best to know someone over some wine" then it was silent.
I did a vacuum and waited for her to ask me something but nothing. I didn't want to invest too much into the convo and let her chase but she never asked me anything. I had thoughts about ending the date cause i thought i dont even want to pull her anymore. I can't even verbally escalate. She never did anything for me to reward her.
Then after we ate, she asked me "Where do you want to go next". In my head I am thinking. "My place". But she says she wants to buy lipstick at Sephora, so I went with her to Sephora and just thought to myself damn I don't want to be here. So I told her was going to the restroom and then I waited outside. Just as I thought that I was gonna walk away and ditch her, there she was.
Now she was saying she wants to eat cake. The fuck man I'm on a diet. I told her I'm full. I don't want dessert. She was showing me all these restaurants for Cake and Ice cream. She picked a cafe i told her I'll have some tea. The place she chose didnt have tea, so she went to this other place we looked at the menu and it has tea. I just said ok and we sat down and ordered my tea and she ordered her ice cream.
During this time, she was going on her phone a lot more and I just went on my phone and im thinking what I should do. I had a thought that I would just stand up and say im gonna go to the restroom and then ditch her but i just felt bad doing that.
So after the bill came i paid for my $5 tea and she paid for her $10 ice cream after this we went to the bathroom and i decided to wait because I told her I'm going home after this. She called her friend and she said her friend was in the same mall so she was gonna meet her after.
I was like nah im not gonna hang around while you meet your friend. So I told her bye. I didn't go for any kiss or hold her hand or verbally escalate. Because there was nothing about her I wanted to validate her on. I started by saying she has nice long hair.. do you like to get your hair pulled? She says "No". When she bought her lipstick, I said "You have very kissable lips"
But she didn't even care so I just mentally gave up halfway through the date.
What could I have done differently and what do you usually do if you want to pull but she keeps saying "Not tonight. No, I don't want to go back to your place". Do you just say Ok but then take her there anyways and treat it as a soft no? I treated it as a Hard no. But I was thinking in hindsight, next time if she says No, just lead her there anyways and say "It's a surprise" until we get there and then if she still says No then end the date?
Haha. Damn. that's one stubborn tall girl. In all seriousness though, I never ask the girl about going to my place. I just lead them there and then act playfully surprise when we get to my place. If they ask along the way, I tell them it's a surprise. About 3/4 times, they don't say anything and just go in. The other 1/4 usually go in after a bit of objection handling. A few some here and there don't. And I just tease them for being lame and go inside myself.
My advice is that next time you're in this situation, just end the date when you no longer feel like being with the girl. And don't do it with the lame bathroom excuse. Just straight up say "hey! I gotta be honest, I'm not feeling it. You're a nice person though. So, best of luck!". Don't let some random stranger drag you around for half the night, that's a waste of your time
which camera do you have? is it Panasonic?
