Kind of at a stalemate.
I botched the first response to the objection and should have said “because you’re 2 years older than me?” before seeing all of that. Was thinking of saying:
“cool, how about we cut to the part where u tell me ur concerns about meeting up. ending things here would be very anti-climactic”
voice memo from earlier says: of course. just ask my furry sidekick. we’ve gotten awards for our cuddling expertise.
