If you want to go for it, do a takeaway and say something like "If you're not into it, I can just stop trying" or something man I'm not too sure but you to need to sort of she where she stands instead of going back and forth over a couple of months.

You don't have to try and be clever 100% of the time. you're allowed to just have a normal back and forth. It just seems you're trying too hard here
