I think you went wrong when she asked if there was outdoor seating. you responded with what kind of wine should I have in stock for you which gave her some input into the date and didn’t ease her concern. a good alternative to what you said could’ve been. little neck, I have a balcony/rooftop/there’s a park nearby. she responds very nice and you go for the soft close. what’s your availability like this week. given where things currently are, if she doesn’t respond to your current text i’d text back in 2-3 days with if you’re nervous about coming to my place, we can meet at a bar nearby first. let us know how it goes!
