Shit when you said " i understand" I used to say that shit all the time . I then realized that's a death sentence for any man. Saying I understand pretty much means you gave up and the girl can ignore you without feeling guilty.
I respectfully disagree. The error was made when he said “You didn’t object to the idea though troublemaker 😏”. That’s gonna be a hard sell because you’re openly asking for an endorsement of the escalation.
Instead, he should have said something like
“it’s part of my charm 😏”
That shows that you’ve “been here” before. Hence a flirty way of DHVing.
And if you wanted to push the boundary even more you could add a challenge “all bets are off if we’re gonna be pen pals”

Fuck you are so right. I wish I would have posted that before responding so I could have been smarter about it. So you're saying to revive the convo I should write what you said in "all bets are off if we're gonna be pen pals" its been about 5 days since the last text where she didn't respond.
I used that line because Alex recommend it. I get what you mean but in this case I feel like it was more of me pulling back after pushing.
I would have said instead " Since when confidence is a bad thing? "
