How to deal with a chick who is nervous to meet you?

Tried to meet up with a girl twice and she's flaked, so I found out that she's actually very nervous about meeting new people.

How do I fix this one?

A couple ideas:

1. Have a phone call with her
2. Tell her it's normal to be nervous
