For future reference, in situations like this I tend to say something like "I can do Friday after X o'clock" or something similar. That way you don't sound like you've got nothing better in your life than wait for this chick. Adjust X based on context and investment levels.

Yeah I do the same. I'll say "hmmm, Friday should work. Im busy until 7, but we can meet at 8 at ____". Setting dates later seems to help close rates as well
