So apparently she lives about two hours away from my place and she’s in grad school so she’s not looking for a relationship just yet. What would be a good way to respond to her reply?
Flipping this on her after she showed a bit of reluctance wasn’t the move. Something like “funny you say that, I’m so busy with my career, I find it works better to date someone busy too. Plus, I know how to give the much needed grad school encouragement, back rubs, and stress relief ;)
"Our love can survive hell and grad school"
Or perhaps,
"If there's chemistry, there's nothing our love can't do"
"We should start off with splitting a bottle of wine and seeing how the chemistry is. Not like we'd say the magic words on the first date itself lol"
