me: "Hey, wanna grab drinks this week?"
her: "ooo I'll have to see"
her: "I can do tonight maybe"
me: "i'm out until 8, does 8:30 or 9 work for you?"
her: "where"
me: "why don't we have some wine at my place"
silence...
She stopped responding when I asked her to my place. This was the third time we were gonna hangout. I've only been using hinge for 1.5 months and every time I asked a girl back to my place they just ghost, if it's during the date they ghost after, if it's over text as soon as I ask they stop responding no matter how well things go.
I think the biggest mistake was the maybe line from her. That was an early sign of saying no to anything you were about to say.
Should have said "well it sounds like you arent sure about your plans. when you are let me know"
Well I can't change what I said after I said it... Hindsight is always 20/20, I'm asking what I should do now. I'm leaning towards just asking her what she's looking for b/c I feel like based on our interactions so far she might just be a timewaster, aka will go out but only for the validation.
most girls don't want to go to your place on the first date, they find it creepy
few things here man, you said this was your 3rd date, I assume that means the first 2 dates didn't resolve in sex, did anything physical happen? Because if your kind of coming off as a boyfriend then yeah I can see why a chick would bail on you when you invite her straight over, I can tell you personally that if I invite 100 girls straight to my place that 30-40 will agree but 50 or so will ask to meet in public first and maybe 10 will disappear and stop responding. That being said if this approach isn't working for you then there's nothing wrong with you scrapping it, meeting at a bar near by and pulling after a few drinks
Yeah we kissed and made out on dates before, with other girls I can tell if they're interested with some accuracy but with her it feels like a coin flip. Not really sure how I should proceed here, re open, takeaway, or just straight up ask again- but this time somewhere public.
