I met a girl at a concert over a year ago, danced all night, was amazing. We exchanged numbers, and a few days later she invited me to a party, but I as out of town. Scheduled several dates when I came back, but she kept cancelling so I dropped her.
Then a month ago, we randomly matched on Tinder. We both remembered each other, had a great video call, and then an amazing date where we had so much fun talking and joking over drinks. She told me over and over again how hot she thinks I am, and how thrilled she was to see me again. She didn’t hesitate when I invited her to smoke weed at my place. We came back, made out (even that was really hot) and then she insisted on not going further and then left.
I called her a week later (too long, I know), and she’s been evasive ever since. Thought I was just playing it cool, but I think that week of silence took the wind out of her sails. Now she gives brief responses, and only to half my texts. In the attached texts, we talked on the phone after her prayer hands emoji, and she said she could maybe hang out Thursday or Friday. The next message is me reengaging her Wednesday to nail down details, but she hardly responds.
I would have dropped her by now, but for Alex’s example of persistence. Not sure whether or how to persist.
Something I don't see Alex talk about (to my knowledge) is time in between text responses. This is something I've personally found to be very significant, as it's all about quality, not quantity. My constructive critique based on your screenshots is that you are responding way too fast. I'd suggest an hour in between at least, regardless of how fast she's responding. Quick responses convey a message of availability and high investment, which as a high value man, you should not be displaying, as you should be "busy" with more important matters.
