Getting dates from Instagram

When it comes to getting dates using Instagram (i.e. sliding into random girls DMs and getting dates from there), do you do exactly what you would do on dating apps, or are there any additional tips?

Also what would be the best way to open girls on Instagram?

Thanks for the help!
