I have some girls I'm friends with - from before I got into game.
The other day I met up with one for the first time in a few months. I decided to run some game and see where I could get things
We were in public all day, and she responded well to jokes with the "we" frame, reciprocating jokes about running away together, starting a family, etc. She let me hold her hand, be physically playful, and hold her thigh, all without any resistance.
The key word here is "let" though, she didn't seem all that into anything I did. She still laughed at all my jokes and had a good time, and didn't tell me to stop. But the physical contact seemed to make her tense up a bit, and her body language became more closed off. I was just confused because despite this, she never pulled away or indicated she wanted me to stop. Getting some serious mixed signals.
I decided not to invite her back to my place because of what I perceived as discomfort, but she mentioned she wanted to go out again to the mall together next week.
Thoughts on what to do or where to go next are appreciated. Do I need to build more comfort?
Edit: might be important that she's mentioned she's talking to another guy right now, and openly told me she has a "good feeling about him"
I think you could definitely give it another shot since she’s receptive to it, but when the time comes to “close” try and get a solid answer on where she stands with the two of you.
If she’s into the other guy, cut your losses and move on. If she’s into you, escalate from there.
More specifically, I think you gotta go for a kiss when you think the time is right. I think it would be better to know where you’re at then getting led along
