Context : we already had a coffee date more than week ago. It was supposed to be a quick meet-n-greet in the middle of office hours (bec we couldn’t see each other last weekend bec she was out of town) but turned into like two hours since we really vibed. So for second date, we set for this weekend, Sunday. And now this exchange
I realise that I looked needy and frustrated. It’s wrong, but I was really annoyed since I was looking forward to it and I thought she did as well. I thought that if she were sincere, she would either :
Now she’s not opening the message. My instinct would be to just block her as a fucking time-waster (or on the other end of the spectrum, go “Tsk. And here I was looking forward to it”), but I know that’s not PWF way
So just wanted to know your thoughts and if I should just move on from this or what. Sorry dudes just really annoyed, I know i shouldn’t have let it get to me
EDIT : I think the real reason why I'm so annoyed is, aside from not just telling me earlier, she's flaking for a non-emergency reason. Like I'd totally get it if her mum had covid and was dying, but just seems to me she made plans with friends, even after we already made our own plans
I'm a little confused here. She didn't really flake on you and she just asked you to remind her when the date was. All you had to do was just say the day you had made plans for. Now it's kind of in a weird place. I would just wait on her and see if she responds
No it's a flake, it was supposed to be Sunday. We already made plans for it earlier that week (specifically, this was Tuesday. On that day, I asked her if she were free Friday or Sunday, she said Sunday. Then I reopened her again on Friday with the Ryan Gosling meme to keep the convo warm)
Here, I attached screenshots of the earlier exchanges leading up to this (btw when I said "beauty queen", wasn't simping it's bec she really did pageants before)
When I asked to resched "tomorrow" (i.e. Saturday), she said she was also busy bec she was changing her car oil. (I know someone here said it only takes 30mins, but trust me here in my country it's a whole day affair + she lives far away + saw her stories). I didn't reply to nor like the message so that was our last exchange
That was Friday evening, as of this post it's Monday morning
When she says "Sunday", nail down the hard close. Time and place.

Been there man. It’s an ego question, when dealing with girls you gotta put your ego in check. Remember girls are emotional beings, there’s a variety of reasons why she flaked. Like others suggested wait a week or so and Re-engage
She replied “I’m changing my car oil tomorrow 😢”
that takes like 30 minutes
Don't say anything for a few days, sorry to say that that last text might come across as needy. Alex has a text that's "so cute... so flakey..." that I would drop in a few days
Yeah dude I know. The exchanges were going really quick (like minute/seconds after the other), so when she flaked I was really caught up in the moment and let my frustration show
Bump. Sorry guys just wanted to know how to take it forward from here
To recap, last thing she said was she had to get her car oil changed after I asked “Tomorrow ?” (Saturday) and I didn’t reply anymore. How do I reengage ? It’s Tuesday night here
