So i closed on a girl with a variation of the "romantic date" line, and she responded with "Who said anything about a date". Been a decent amount of light teasing throughout this convo so I think thats what this is, any advice on how to word the response? Feel like just saying "I did" won't work here
If you vibed and built comfort investment then the close is ok and go for something like "You misspelled "when is this date" or "never been on a date?". If the vibe isn't strong you have to take the convo in another direction and make her invest.
Did you build enough comfort yet? Often that objection will come up because of that. Try disqualifying with "well maybe i'd want to see if you pass my tests" or something then just make up dumb questions to ask her until she "passes"
