Hey guys so i have noticed a big difference between Alex picture advice and photofeeler scores for attractivness of pictures (when rated by girls ofc).
In some of the pictures which i posted in the past and Alex said they were very posted and not good, i got 9.1/10 score on Photofeeler while the style Alex advocates seems to be more natural, not looking at the camera, more serious types of pictures. These seem to do worse on photofeeler when rated by females there annomyously.
Now my question is should i take photofeeler scores into account? Do they matter much?
i would do what i am about to do for the first time. i had a girl i have friends with benefits with take a video of me in my dope shirt. i did different poses. now i will try to find a female photo editor on fiverr. and pay her to make dope pictures that she finds me attractive in from the video i made. never tried this before but always wanted too. there is a lot of freelancers on fiverr.
I have just discovered the same thing. I am in a similar shape as Alex and my shirtless pic (which is very similar to Alex) scored very low. Having said that, Alex mentions in the video that this type of photo can be a big turn off for some and a turn on for others. You are alienating a lot, but the few that you get, you will stand out for them from other profiles.
Also if your profile is meant to get DTF girls then your pictures will be slightly different than if your profile is to get a long term relationship. Your bio will be very different as well. Without that context your pics might not be rated as high, because they might be rated by women who want a long term relationship.
Anyways, that's just my thought. I am taking the feedback from photofeeler myself and I am going to try to maximize the ratings of my photos and see what happens with the results.
I've always been very opposed to photofeeler advice since you don't really know the demographic of who's rating your pictures. Could be a bunch of old fat dudes who are eating cheetos in front of their couch waiting for the commercial to end. I've seen it first hand that my pictures which were considered really attractive by photofeeler didn't do well on online dating. Overall, wouldn't recommend using it
context is key, just as you would have different photos for your moms photo album, job resume, etc you would want different photos for dating app, and it can even go deeper imo like if you are looking for hook up or relationship vibes. etc
Haven't used photofeeler but dont think it cares for context, just ask hot girls who are frank and non-jealous on photos they like most, that usually has been my go to.
It does care for context.
When you upload a photo you can have it rated as a Social, Business or Dating photo.
Also, when you get a Dating photo voted, you received a score on perceived trustworthiness, intelligence and attractiveness
oh interesting, has it worked well for you? may have to test it out, my only fear is the girls? rating the photo are secret fatties and prefer dad bods or something.
