40 yo milf, how to continue keeping her interested after first “date”/phone call

• matched with her, very pretty high society girl but lives in a different city (so definitely this is long game)
• i can tell she’s very interested and the attraction’s mutual, would’ve probably met immediately if lived in the same city

• She called, lasted for 36mins. Felt the convo was great and she liked it too, but she abruptly cut the call, but said she had to get her son to bed (confirmed on her ig). But we agreed to do another call again, this time video

So i’m posting bec I dunno if I did the right move by just liking her message (in the hope that she’ll eventually double text or just reply to my stories, like she does, and if she doesn’t, just reopen her 2-3 days later). I honestly didn’t know how else to continue the convo. if I just switched gears and asked how her day was going, might’ve seemed desperate to just keep the chat alive. On the other hand, dunno if this might be off-putting for her (we’ve been consistently texting each other since we matched a few days ago without any seen/double text incident)
