Saw a girl sitting by herself at Starbucks, decided to strike up a conversation which led to her giving me her number. How do I move this interaction forward (without getting into the details of the cold approach if it doesn’t help)? Is more investment needed from her before going for the soft close/meet up? If so, what‘s a good text to move this text exchange forward while getting her more invested?

The line you recommended was able to turn around the stalled conversation and get it going, but still low compliance. Even tried to convince me she was going to block me, although I was able to tell it was just an attempt to get me to chase which is why I responded just to test, and turns out she didn’t. Would you say it’s best to wait a couple days to see if she texts back before deciding on whether to double text? If so, what would be a good response?
