I would use the "or not" text, but girls have called that out as being passive aggressive and I agree. Thoughts?
The standard "If you're nervous, I'd understand" should work here. Usually I ask for a phone number with a reason like "for romantic date arrangement purposes" or "since I don't check this app often" or something like that. Easier for them to justify giving out the number.
Interesting. I've had a lot of success with this line and I believe it comes off as slightly higher value to not explain my reasoning, but I see your point. I'll experiment with that.
So I just straight up ask "What's your phone number" after soft closing when I know that the investment is there and convo went well. Yet to get a single rejection there. "Let's switch to text" sort of leaves the ball in neither person's court. Are you going to send her your number? or is she expected to share first? Or is she expected to reply "yes" or "no" before sharing the number?
