I would instead go with "I genuinely did not take you for the flakey type"
Cheers, she texted back last night saying she’s got to work that night now. So I’ll rengage at the weekend to find out her schedule (or should I ask now just after she cancelled)
I don't think you have to wait that long. Just say "Breaking my heart (insert her name)"
