Is it a shit test (i.e. so reply with humour/exaggeration) or a serious objection (i.e. tackle it head on like the age objection, say i’m actually pretty chill in person so that’s why wanna meet and talk irl etc) Thanks guys

There is a time and a place for all of them. The "haha" is intentional. Here I think it serves to lessen the intimidation and makes you sound less defensive.
