Nervous about 2nd date

I had my most fun date ever on Sunday. We had drinks at a bar, pulled her to my apartment where we had a great time watching the super bowl and listening to music. The vibe was super on the whole time, we made out, danced dirty, talked about sex, had fun in bed in just our underwear, she gave me a hand job but I couldn’t close. At one point she said “I would fuck you, would you fuck me?” In an attempt to not be boring, I said “probably” and she said “ok then never mind”. I didn’t immediately reverse my frame on this. Now obviously I gave the wrong answer in this case, but how was I supposed to know? I thought it was a test and just saying "yes" would have been overly eager. Thoughts on this? I had her moaning at several points with foreplay (neck, tits, legs) but every time I tried to finger, she pulled my hand away. I tried the 2 steps forward, 1 step back method but it was the same result every time. I re-engaged with callback humor over text and she’s being responsive. Now I’m trying to not get nervous for the 2nd date, I know whether I close next time could determine if I keep her around or not.
