Really good interaction led to FB close, then left on read. Should I double-message?
There's a girl at work. We had a few brief positive interactions over 4 months. I spent an hour in her office this week fixing something and we seemed to hit it off. She rolled her chair over to the table I was at instead of continuing to work, and we had a fun rambling conversation, talked about our interests and had a lot in common. She laughed at my jokes, offered to let me borrow a book, would ask me questions if there was a moment of silence to keep the conversation going, kept adjusting her hair, etc. She seemed to qualify me, asked if I had kids, if I wanted them, gave me compliments, stuff like that. I mentioned I was performing in a local show coming up soon, and she seemed fairly impressed by it. I told her she should come check it out and she said she would, it sounded fun and she's new in town and doesn't get out much. When I had fixed the problem and it was time to go, she said it was great talking to me. I wanted to get her number, but it's a pretty political job and I wanted to tread carefully, so instead I asked if she had FB. She said yes of course, so I told her I would send her a link to the show's page on there and she responded positively. I figured I could transition to getting her number after a little FB messaging. I waited a day then added her on FB, and she accepted. Then the next day, I sent her the link and a message, but she never responded, and it's been 3 days now... What did I do wrong? Too much? The skiing and douche-bros things were inside jokes from the conversation, thought they'd make her laugh. I wish I hadn't added the emoji though lol. Should I try double-messaging, or is it a lost cause? I really felt like she was into me.
