How to sexualize after a platonic first date?

So I had a park date last week for an hour and a half where I didn't sexualize (embarrassing, yes). I texted her a funny reference from the date a few days later but didn't expect her to actually reply, but she did. Is it going to be weird if I start flirty/sexual banter after a platonic engagement? I was thinking of doing something like "Can I be honest" and start sexualizing a bit by referencing the first date. I'm looking to hear any other ideas of how you guys have recovered after a sub-par first date. Thanks as always for the help!
